Information seems to be leaking out more and more, it looks like there may be a possibility that either we’ll be cooked by solar flares or the rotation of the earth will change causing massive flooding. But does anyone care? this question is aimed at average people around the world who rely on electricity, water, television etc.. I’m not looking for a long answer but I would like to see how important it is to people like me.

No worry. The emending disaster seems real only to those who insist on believing in the theories despite little to no facts backing it up and lots of science and good reasoning against it. The fear of the disaster that will not happen will be worse than the disaster that will not happen.
